블록트레인(Block Train)이란 열차 단위로 고객과 연간 수송계약을 맺고 원하는 시간대에 목적지까지 운행하는 전세열차를 말합니다. 고객 맞춤형 열차운송 서비스라고도 하는데 가까이는 부산과 국내 여러 내륙 지역을 연결하는 컨테이너 운송도 있고 시베리아나 중국을 통해 중앙아시아나 러시아 및 유럽까지 연결되는 장거리 운송에도 이용할 수 있습니다.

유럽향 블록트레인

우리나라와 중국에서 보낸 화물을 벨라루스와 폴란드 국경으로 집결시켜 유럽 전역으로 운송하는 방식으로 한국에서 해상을 통해 연운항에 집결한 컨테이너를 블록트레인을 통해 중국과 카자흐스탄의 접경지역인 훠얼궈스로 보낸다. 궤폭 차이로 알틴콜에서 환적을 진행해 벨라루스 브레스트까지 총 20일의 철도운송을 거친다.
